Doh Eain ("Our Home") is an architectural and urban design practice providing heritage restoration, public space and infrastructure, and climate and sustainability services and solutions in Myanmar.
The urban challenge
Cities are at a critical tipping point
Rapid urbanisation, the loss of heritage and public spaces, and escalating climate vulnerabilities demand immediate, practical action. The challenge requires more than just top-down planning; it requires deeply rooted, human-centred design that empowers the people who actually live and work in cities.
Heritage at risk
Yangon offers Asia's densest concentration of colonial-era buildings, which remain largely unprotected.
Public space deficit
Yangon has one of the lowest space-per-person ratios in South East Asia.
Climate exposure
Flooding and heat are concentrated in the least resourced townships and places.
What we do
A hybrid approach to impact
Doh Eain is a pioneering design practice for social impact. We service private and corporate clients with premium architectural and urban design solutions. We also use grant funding to bring this same standard of design to lower-income communities, delivering the work through our dedicated homeowner, grassroots, and youth networks.
